Sevyn, a young boy who is haunted by mysterious messages from a supernatural
force in his dreams, is desperate to understand their meaning. He tries to decipher the
cryptic messages; however, when the boundary between his nocturnal visions and reality
blurs, he’s left alienated, costing him his bid within the Gamma Phi Fraternity.

The peculiarity of his nightmares leaves him vulnerable and questioning his purpose and place
in the world... Sevyn feels powerless. All he ever wanted was to be accepted and to honor
his father’s legacy.

As his reality becomes increasingly bleak and uncertain, a pivotal moment arrives just before
his 18th birthday, when a knock on his dorm room door shatters his perception of the world.
The revelation that his dreams are not mere fantasies, but actual connections to another realm
where his father, Eli, is trapped... as told by the secret society known as The Distinguished. 

 

The Distinguished explains to Sevyn the complexities and dualities between good and evil in
the multiverse. How the Nefarites can cross over from the Stygian realm into the Munusa
(Human Realm) and use human vessels as weapons to wreak havoc amongst The Ordinary
(non-magical people). They further detail that they, The Distinguished, have magical powers to
stop the Nefarites. Sevyn then realizes his dreams were his father’s way of communicating with
him, preparing him for this exact moment.

One final revelation comes to pass when the clock strikes midnight. Sevyn’s eyes begin to glow
as powerful ancestral magic bellow from the depths of his soul. He is just like his Dad
and the men who stand before him... he is DISTINGUISHED!

 

Sevyn must decide whether he will cross over into the portal, use his powers, and save his dad.
